i think that the restaurant in the hotel was so beautiful. I don’t think i’ll ever see a restaurant like that ever again. The hotel was a piece of shit but the restaurant was the shit.

Excellent location; good service; and the view of the Royal Palace from our window was brilliant. Wonderful local restaurant 50 yards along the road.

Hotel a little bit old but personal very helpful and pleasant. Room are big and the easiest way to move from this hotel is the underground just front of with 5 minutes to the city center.

The hotel description is 100% accurate. The location is excellent, our room and the hotel was clean and spacious, the staff courteous and efficient. We would definitely stay there again.

It was maybe a four star hotel in the late 70’s, but not today. The rooms hadn’t changed since that time too. But the rooms are big with also a big bathroom. The breakfast was nothing special, definitely not a four star breakfast – so you won’t starve The good things: The metro station is right in front of the hotel and it takes just 15 minutes to the center, the Palacio Real is just a short walking distance from the hotel and there are a lot of small restaurants nearby the hotel.

The bad – the room looked like it hadn’t changed since the early 70’s, the tv is about 20 year’s old too (no remote and about 10 channels), we were told only 8 of the rooms in the entire hotel have double beds (the rest like our’s had 2 singles seperated by an immovable night stand), city center is a misnomer – it is on the outskirts and is a fairly long metro ride to the city center, no hair dryer, the continental breakfast wasn’t anything to write home about (I had cereal each morning) but it was free, when checking in the concierge was a bit rude and distrustful but once we proved we did have a room the staff was polite the rest of the stay. The good – across the street from a pretty major metro stop, spacious room, walking distance from the Palacio Real, some small cafes a stones throw from the hotel.
